Ubuntu Dada House Kenya is a Kenya-based mentorship and community program under TCH International, created to encourage connection, guidance, personal growth, and meaningful opportunities for girls and young women.
Rooted in the spirit of Ubuntu, the program recognizes that individual growth is strengthened through community.

The Meaning Behind Our Name
Each part of the name Ubuntu Dada House Kenya represents an important part of the program’s identity.
Ubuntu
Ubuntu is an African philosophy centered on shared humanity, community, and the understanding that our lives are connected.
It is often expressed through the belief:
“I am because we are.”
For this program, Ubuntu represents collective care, mutual support, and shared responsibility.
Dada
“Dada” means sister in Swahili.
It represents the sisterhood, encouragement, mentorship, and cultural connection at the heart of the program.
House
“House” represents belonging, safety, connection, and community.
It describes a community-centered space and support system. It does not currently refer to a residential facility.
Kenya
“Kenya” identifies the cultural and geographic home of the program while honoring the girls, young women, mentors, families, leaders, and community partners helping shape its future.
Mentorship Creates Space to Grow
Mentorship creates space for girls and young women to be heard, encouraged, challenged, and supported as they pursue their goals.
Through trusted guidance and positive relationships, mentors can help girls and young women recognize their strengths, build confidence, explore their goals, and feel connected to a community that values their voices and encourages their growth.
