The Campbell House Community Basketball Fundraiser is more than a tournament, it's an opportunity for families, local businesses, community organizations, athletes, and supporters to rally around a shared cause: empowering girls and young women through mentorship, leadership development, educational support, scholarships, and life-changing opportunities.

Throughout the day, attendees will enjoy competitive basketball matchups, community vendors, food, giveaways, raffles, halftime activities, and opportunities to connect with local organizations making a difference.

Whether you're cheering from the sidelines, shopping with local vendors, supporting a community resource organization, or partnering as a sponsor, your participation helps create opportunities for the next generation.

Vendor & Sponsorship Opportunities

Local businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and service providers are invited to participate.

Community Resource Vendors - FREE

Organizations providing educational resources, outreach, support services, wellness information, youth programming, or community resources may participate at no cost, subject to approval.

Sales Vendors - $50

Businesses selling products, merchandise, food, crafts, or services are welcome to participate for a $50 vendor fee.

Sponsors Welcome

Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations interested in increasing community visibility while supporting a meaningful cause.

Preparing Students for Success

The Campbell House is proud to host our annual Backpack Drive, a community-centered event dedicated to ensuring students start the school year equipped, confident, and ready to succeed.

For many families, the beginning of a new school year brings excitement, but it can also bring financial challenges. Through this initiative, we work alongside community partners, businesses, sponsors, and volunteers to provide backpacks, school supplies, resources, and support to students throughout Newark and the surrounding communities.

This event is about more than backpacks. It is about showing young people that their community believes in them and is invested in their future.

What to Expect

🎒 Backpack & School Supply Distribution

Students will receive backpacks filled with essential school supplies while supplies last.

🤝 Community Resources

Families will have access to organizations and programs offering educational support, health resources, youth services, mentorship opportunities, and more.
