These four words hold a truth that has carried so many of us through our darkest seasons. At The Campbell House, we carry this message close, not just as a comforting phrase, but as a philosophy. A belief. A lived reality.

Because we know what it means to feel broken.
To carry pain in places no one sees.
To wonder if the pieces of your heart will ever feel whole again.

And yet…
Even after the shattering.
Even after the silence.
Even after the damage and the doubt, you still color.

💜

When girls come into our programs, they’re often holding pieces of themselves they’ve been told are too much or not enough. They carry fear, shame, and sometimes the weight of being invisible. But as we sit with them, listen to them, honor them, something begins to shift. They begin to remember who they are. Not in spite of what they’ve been through, but because they’ve survived it.

That’s the power of broken crayons.
They may be snapped or dull or worn down from us, but they still carry pigment.
They still bring color into the world.
And sometimes, it’s the broken ones that create the most beautiful work.

💜

This quote reminds us that healing doesn’t mean erasing the past. It means finding the strength to move forward with it. It’s messy. It’s nonlinear. It’s personal. But it’s possible.

You don’t need to be whole to be worthy.
You don’t need to be perfect to be powerful.
And you don’t need to have it all figured out to start coloring again.

You are not broken.
You are healing.
And you are still creating something beautiful.

From the moment The Campbell House was born, it was built on this truth.
That even in loss, love can rise.
That even in grief, there is hope.
And that every girl, no matter her story, has the right to a life filled with safety, joy, and color.

So if no one has told you lately:
We see you.
We honor you.
And we’re so glad you’re still here.

💜 Keep going. Keep coloring. You are not alone.
