Mentorship, Explained
-
A mentor is someone who’s there for you.
They’re a trusted adult who listens, supports you, and helps guide you as you grow. You can talk to them, ask questions, vent, laugh, and learn . no judgment, no pressure.
At The Campbell House, mentors are here to help you feel:
✨ confident
✨ supported
✨ seen -
A mentor can help you:
💪 Build confidence and believe in yourself
🏫 Talk through stuff happening at school or in life
🎯 Set goals and figure out what you want for your future
💡Learn healthy ways to handle stress, emotions, and relationships
💬 Feel supported and encouraged
Sometimes it’s about advice.
Sometimes it’s just having someone who listens.👉 Both matter.
-
Mentorship at The Campbell House is for girls and young women who:
💭 Want extra support or guidance
🌱 Are figuring out who they are and who they want to be
👩👧 Want someone in their corner
✨ Are open to learning, growing, and trying new things
You don’t have to have everything figured out, that’s literally the point.
-
Because you don’t have to do everything alone.
Having a mentor means:
🙌 Someone believes in you
📅 Someone shows up for you
🌟 Someone helps you grow into your best self
Mentorship is about becoming stronger, more confident, and more sure of who you are, at your own pace.
